Russell Crowe is an Australian born actor, who started out at a young age in an Australian TV show. His big break came in the form of two films - Romper Stomper, which put him on the map in Australia, and The Sum of Us, which put in on the map in the United States. Throughout the 1990's, he took roles in films such as Virtuosity and L.A. Confidential. In 2000 and 2001, Crowe received widespread success and awards for his starring roles in Gladiator and A Beautiful Mind. Recently he has appeared in Les Miserables and Broken City and is set to appear next in Christopher Nolan produced Man of Steel.
